From Paulette Aspesi
Title/Author
Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout
This is the book she won the Pulitzer Prize for- do not get it.
It is a collection of 13 short stories in which Olive Kitteridge plays a major role throughout, even when she is not part of a particular story.
This book would have been vastly improved if it had had some order to it. Needed to either be in chronological order of at least have the dates when each individual story started. Very confusing at first and took a little while to understand the stories and where each fit in. It was just all over the place. I did like the character of Olive and her development as a person. Clueless as to who and what she was- as most of us seem to be.
How many stars does the book deserve?
