Was really an eye-opener. Hard to believe a Quarter Pounder at McDonald’s is healthier than a Premium Grilled Chicken Club. Book helps you to make better food choices when eating out or buying at grocery stores. Also includes calorie contents of the foods included. Has a kids section ad a drinks one. How many stars does the book deserve? ☆☆☆☆
Title/Author The Sayers Swindle by Victoria Abbott

Part of Book Collector Mystery series. Jordan Bingham works for Vera Van Alst. She is responsible for helping her with he book collection, but when Vera’s Dorothy Sayers first editions are stolen Jordan must find them- or else. Characters include Jordan’s lovable though reprehensible uncles and some good friends. Not a bad ending. Good fast read. How many stars does the book deserve? ☆☆☆
Title/Author A Clue For the Puzzle Lady by Parnell Hall

Cora Felton is an eccentric old lady who has a syndicated puzzle column. She definitely has personality, but all is not as it seems. Cora drinks and it is her niece who does the puzzles but she has problems that do not allow her to be given credit for them. The plot was good, the characters lovable- and the book even included a puzzle to do. How many stars does the book deserve? ☆☆☆
Title/Author The Truth About Crystal Healing by Phyllis Galde

Small book with a lot of info on crystals- their so-called healing powers, the different kinds and characteristics of each, and historical and future uses. You might not agree with everything written but it certainly gives food for thought. Would have been nice if it had included pictures of the various stones and not just written descriptions. How many stars does the book deserve? ☆☆☆

I really loved this book. Pictures in the book were great. descriptions on how to teach your dog tricks were excellent. Clicker training is described. Tricks such as bow, crawl, bring, play dead, speak, give, roll over, and many more are described in this book. Also, how to handle your dog and bad behaviors and how to stop them. How many stars does the book deserve? ☆☆☆☆

After the Russian Revolution Count Alexander Ilyvich Rostov is sentenced to spend his remaining life (he’s not very old at all) in the Metropol Hotel. He adapts, makes friends with wonderful characters who really care about each other, and raises his friends daughter from 7 years to adulthood. Thoroughly enjoyed his writing.
