The Stepsister Scheme
This book picks up a few months after the Cinderella story ends. Danielle(Cinderella) is happy with her husband, but her stepsisters just can’t leave well enough alone. They plot to steal Danielle’s husband and her child. Queen Bea, the prince’s mother, introduces Danielle to Talia and Snow (Sleeping Beauty and Snow White). These two princesses are Queen Bea’s spies, they help her maintain balance in the kingdom. Through out the book we get details regarding the “real stories” of the lives of all of the princesses and get to meet some new and interesting characters. The book is fun but maintains an aura of darkness that keeps it from getting overly silly. This is the first book in a trilogy about a sisterhood of women who are tough and smart.

The Cinderella Society
In The Cinderella Society Jessica Parker was the new girl at school this year. On the last day of school she peeks inside her bag to look for something and she finds an envelope addressed to her. When she opens it, she finds an invitation that changes her life and a pin. She is finally going to turn her life around and not be the lame new girl loser she was this year. As she joins the Cinderella Society, she gets friends, a makeover, a special boyfriend and a lot more. But as she involves herself into the society she can’t help but wonder “is this really what I signed up for?” Jess finds herself in many tough situations and knows that even though it sounded easy and fun, The Cinderella Society is no picnic. I would recommend this book to all girls who like books about good girls (the Cindy’s) and the evil girls (the wicked’s). I really enjoyed this book and I hope you guys will too.

Cinderella Society
In the book The Cinderella Society, sixteen year old Jessica Parker feels like an outsider in school.  She tries hard to fit in, but no one really accepts her until she gets an invitation to join the club called the Cindys, or otherwise known as the Cinderella Society.  This club consists of the most popular girls in school.  The Cindys main job is to protect themselves and the Reggies (regular people) from the Wickeds. The Wickeds (are like Cinderella’s wicked step sisters) are a club that blackmail people into doing things for them. As the story progresses, read all about
the moment when Jessica finally feels like she fits in.  Also, find out who Jessica’s arch enemy is, as well as who finally notices her after a makeover. Join Jessica on this exciting journey through happiness, sadness, and romance. This book is highly recommended for girls 10 and up.
