A Shattering Crime, which is part of the Stained Glass mystery series, belongs to the cozy mystery genre. I like this series. The story deals with a woman, Georgia, who was forced to leave her big city job when problems erupted and her fiance threw her over. Georgia returns to the small town where she came from to live with her grandfather and takes all kinds of odd jobs to make a living, but her passion is making stained glass. This particular book involves the death of a local activist who is against a big mall going up and who dies but we are not sure from what — was it an untraceable poison? Liked her love interest or could be interests. Will never win a Pulitzer, but great to pick up and put down when finished. So far as stars go, if you’re looking for meat, a 1, otherwise a very strong 2.
