Nights in Rodanthe/Nicholas Sparks
This was a typical Nicholas Sparks theme, a love story. Two divorcees meet at a vacation home for a week and fall in love. He leaves to be with his son who he was trying to have a relationship with (he was never around when he was growing up) and he promises to return in one year to continue their love affair forever. However, he dies in an accident while with the son, and the son returns with a letter to her about how much she meant to him and how her love changed his life. She relays the story to her daughter who is grieving for her own reasons and, and the daughter never knew about the relationship when it happened (several years before). It was an easy read and very enjoyable. How many stars does the book deserve?
