From Elaine Pasquali
Years ago, I had read this novel. While it was familiar I did not remember its complexity. Mack, the son of a wealthy family, disappears months before he is due to start law school. Mack’s sister Carolyn was a teenager at the time that her brother went missing. Mack calls home every Mother’s /Day, but that is the extent of his communication.. Carolyn is now twenty two years old and a lawyer. She decides she is going to get to the bottom of her brother’s disappearance. There are many red herrings but Carolyn perseveres and gets to the bottom of the mystery. She almost loses her life in the process.
How many stars does the book deserve?
