Summer Reading Club Review: Sex, Murder and a Double Latte

From Elaine Pasquali

Title: Sex, Murder and a Double Latte

Author: Kyra Davis

This was Ms. Davis’ first novel and it was so enjoyable that I will certainly seek out others. In a situation of life imitating art, Sophie, a chic-lit author, is involved in a series of murders that are following one of her mystery novels. Is Anatoly, Sophie’s new boyfriend, a serial killer? Is Sophie the serial killer’s ultimate victim? First considered paranoid by the police and then considered a suspect, Sophie and her friends, Mary Ann and Dena, decide they must solve the murders before Sophie is killed.   The novel is a delightful mixture of suspense and comedy.
