V is for Vengeance

From Leslie Liebman

Title: V is for Vengeance

Author: Sue Grafton

This is possibly her most complex plot line with many twists & turns keeping this reader unsure of final denouement until close to end of novel. Grafton includes the usual cast of characters: Kinsey, Henry & his brothers & sisters. She also includes a small time crook Kinsey wants to help, his wife, a super-rich mob-like leader along with his family, a gang of retail thieves, a group of high society types especially one woman bored with her marriage. How all these varied characters end up intertwined leads the reader on a merry ride for a fully enjoyable read. If you live mysteries you will definitely enjoy this book.

Transfer of Power

From Nicole Simon

Title: Transfer of Power

Author: Vince Flynn

Book #3 in the Mitch Rapp series, VERY ADDICTING! I have been speed reading these books lately. Much of the novel takes place within the minds of each character. Inner monologues are interwoven throughout the novel. However, in large meetings or briefings the narrator becomes a fly on the wall, noting each character’s spoken contribution without passing judgment.
