Agatha Raisin and the Terrible Tourist

Agatha Raisin and the Terrible Tourist
Agatha Raisin desperately pursues her ex-fiance, James Lacey, to North Cyprus.  James, true to his nature, is cold and indifferent towards Agatha.  In her pursuit of James, Agatha stumbles onto a murder.  She tries to solve the murder with the same single-mindedness that she pursues James.  She is more successful in solving the murder than in bedding James.  Agatha Raisin is not a likable character, but Beaton writes so well that you turn page after page.  Beaton seamlessly interwove Cypriot history into the story line, further increasing its enjoyment factor.
