Sing You Home

From Gina Cortina
author: Picoult, Jodi
Sing You Home
Max and Zoe have been unsuccessful at having a baby. They have tried EVERYTHING! Max is tired and says he has given up. Their marriage crumbles and Zoe falls for someone else. Another great story by one of my favorite authors! This one starts out a bit slow but don’t put it down, trust me you will be rooting for the ‘moms’ by the middle of this heart~warming story.

Unwind

From Catherine Costanzo
author: Shusterman, Neal
Unwind
This book takes place in the future where children between the ages of 13-18 are “used” for parts if they’re deemed “unacceptable”.  For example —
those with behavior problems, or other health issues could be “unwound” and parts given to others who need them such as eyes, lets, arms etc.  It’s the story of 3 kids who refuse to be “unwound” even though it’s the law and they strive to let others survive as well.

The Devil Colony

From Hannah Columbo
author: Rollins, James
The Devil Colony
If you love reading thrillers, this series is for you. James Rollins writes with suspense and a lot of action. If you haven’t read any of his books, you
can’t start on this one. You need to start with Sandstorm (1st in the Sigma series). The Devil Colony is GREAT read! A lot of research has gone into this book so therefore there are historical facts in here. The mystery refers to the Native Americans and Lewis & Clark expedition time periods.
This book doesn’t disappoint.

Angel Falls

From Judy Schroback
author: Hannah, Kristin
Angel Falls
This book is a fast read with interesting characters.  It’s a bit predictable but the author brings us to the finale with some good writing along the
way.  She includes some song references to set the time and place and adds humor even when is seems all may be hopeless.  It’s definitely a romantic novel.  The husband may be too good to be true but he is so uplifting you want him to be real. The kids are quite believable.  I recommend it as something light for the summer.
