Beast Behaving Badly
Very enjoyable.    it’s a lot of fun reading about Blayne’s, a wolf-dog hybrid drifter, and Bo’s, a bear-cat hybrid, encounters and eventual relationship.  It’s fast moving and the characters acceptances of each others differences is highly amusing.  He’s all about keeping on schedule and she doesn’t even have a watch that works.  I highly recommend this book.

Close Encounters of the Sexy Kind
Very good.   It’s very entertaining when Mala, from the planet Nerak arrives on Earth to visit the planet that her grandmother wrote about.  She meets Mason and there’s that instant attraction–but of course he doesn’t believe in her when she tries to tell him she’s from another planet.  Mala learns about Earth (chocolate tastes better than food capsules) and builds a relationship with Mason.  Holds your attention but doesn’t have as much substance as other Karen Kelley books.

I liked the story idea.  Cady has been on the run for a long time.  King is a wrongly convicted ex-con who knows what it’s like to deal with bad situations.  The adventures were entertaining and overall the book was good, but there were a lot of slow sections in the middle of the book.  It’s still worth reading.

A Secret Rage

From Robin McCracken
author: Harris, Charlaine
A Secret Rage
In ‘A Secret Rage’, this story brought together a tight friendship between old friends after a vicious attack on each one was shared.
Growing up in a small town in Tennessee, and then venturing to NYC to become a model, Nikki Callahan returns to college and bonds with her best friend, but when she becomes a victim to rape along with others in her home town, she takes revenge.  If you like Charlaine Harris’s writing, you’ll enjoy ‘A Secret Rage’.

American Wife

From Mary Polito
author: Sittenfeld, Curtis
American Wife
The book was an easy read.  It follows a presidential wife and what she sacrifices to please her husband and his family.  It is based on Laura Bush and some of the events in her life and how they may have shaped who she is today.  It is a fictional account but it gives some insights into how she may have dealt with some of the hardships in her life. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it as light reading.

Suspenseful story. I enjoyed reading this story about Georgia who has a limited time to save her brother who’s being held hostage and find out the truth behind the crime her father spent the last thirteen years of his life imprisoned for.  I like the hero, Harry and the way his relationship developed with Georgia.  I recommend this book.
